Four Spanish songs

My first small compositions were written many years ago, when I still lived permanently in Jerez de la Frontera (Andalusia).

In 2000, I was commissioned by an artists' association called "Puente al Sur" (Bridge to the South) to set various poems by the Jerezan writer Josefa Parra to music. This resulted in "Four Spanish Songs", which I have now recorded in the summer of 2018 with the soprano Maribel Ortega.
