The Secret Life

The plot
Born in the bosom of a wealthy family, Lara experiences her carefree childhood full of fantasy and happy games. Marriage to her childhood sweetheart is the fulfillment of all her romantic dreams. But even as an adult she remains stuck in her fantasy world, loses herself in daydreams, memories of childhood and lives only in her stories.
In midlife she encounters her failed self-image and begins to question her own identity. Despair, deep depression and elation alternate. As she ages, she adopts an almost cynical, detached approach to life. Senile dementia and harbingers of death follow....
